Mapping Accessibility
Across Singapore

šŸ“š A teaching archive
A place for students to share their learning and reflections.

šŸŒ A community resource
A growing record of accessibility challenges and opportunities across Singapore.

This site serves two purposes:

Play spaces are important educational, social, and developmental environments. Yet not all children have equal access to such spaces.

AccessMap SG is a project at the National Institute of Education (NIE, NTU) that aims to review and documents accessibility in public play spaces across Singapore.
As part of their special education minor class on disabilities, undergraduate students audit physical play spaces to identify barriers, propose improvements, and reflect on how accessibility can be strengthened for children and youth with disabilities to support their participation in play.
